I have to say openSuSE works beautifully on this tablet. Even the fingerprint reader works for login. The only thing I need to get working are the extra keys on the side of the thing, and xev is giving nothing.

Hello from Meego tablet edition. Touchscreen: Check. Wifi: Check. OSK: Check. Now I just need to figure out where the bloody app 'switcher' button is so I can unplug the keyboard.

@nybill A chainsaw would cure both :D

@nybill I'll try the tablet edition (I grabbed the netbook one before) The 3g is taking a hammering this weekend :)
-
@nybill nope. Other than that it's working beautifully.

Anyone know how to raise the on screen keyboard in meego 1.2? It's driving me nuts! !N900

Even with the latest install media Arch is downloading 132mb of updates for the base install.

@jezra damn cordia boots fast, and I got excited to see the maemo launcher thing in the top corner, but other than the launcher I got nothing :( no desktop no apps if I click the launcher, nothing.

@krayon An old one (circa 2007) A fujisu stylistic 5112 core 2 duo. Laptop hardware with a pen stylus.
-
@jezra wgetting it now. I hope it has the fujitsu-tablet kernel module built in. (fingers crossed)

@jezra openbox to start with just to get up and running, and I want to try matchbox. Any suggestions?

Grabbing the latest Arch install media. It's time to Archify this tablet. Ubuntu was OK, but openSuSE was the best so far.

@jezra A TP-Link TL-MR3420. I've used the 3220s for a couple of projects (inc the 3g one). I plan to set this one up so it can piggy back an existing setup so some selected machines are connected to the VPN router and the rest don't.
-
@jezra My next ddwrt project, when the router arrives. ---> http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Static_PPTP_VPN_Client

Fixed it (damn ampersands buggering up my scripts)
